The Parents of Manor Infant School

Who are 'The POMS'?The POMS are the parents and relatives of the children of the school so you may be a 'POM' already.

What do 'POMS' do?
'The POMS' fundraise money to provide extras for the children, which would not otherwise be available within the school budget, to enhance their enjoyment of school and help their education; examples of these ‘extras’ are school trips, library books, outdoor improvements  as well as improved facilities for the school.

'The POMS' also provide closer links between home, school and the community.

How do 'The POMS' raise funds?

By holding varied events throughout the year, open to all and enjoyed by all. There will be regular newsletters which advertise forthcoming events, which appear on this page. Parents should look out for our flyers that come home in school book-bags advertising our events. The events 'The POMS' will be looking to organise will range from the simple playground ‘cake sale’ to a Summer Fayre extravaganza.

Welcome aboard!  If you think that you could help in any aspect of ‘The POMS’ please come to our meetings which are advertised in the school and on our newsletters, or speak to a 'POMS' Committee Member.
